A 30 year-old student of Delta State polytechnic, Ozoro, identified as Chioke Ikpi was on Tuesday 22nd May, 2018 shot dead by yet to be identified gunmen in Aradhe community, Isoko North Local Government Area of the state.
Chioke who was found dead in the early hours of the day was reportedly trailed by his murderer(s) to a farm land where he was doing a menial Job as labourer to enable him cater for his immediate needs.
The victim was said to have been shot dead on the spot by the his attacker(s) who later dumped his body in the bush path before disappearing from the scene.
DSP Andrew Aniamaka, the Delta State police spokesman confirmed the sad incident and told newsmen that the police is currently investigating the incident, although no arrest has been made yet but already invited the owner of the farm for questioning, and promise that the police will bring the perpetrators to book.
