Renowned Kaduna State Catholic priest, Rv Fr Vincent Tanko of Ankwa Parish, is dead.
IDOMA VOICE gathered that the cleric died in a fatal lone crash.
Hon. Peter Agite, Executive Chairman Kachia Local Government, confirmed his death.
He described his death as great loss to the Catholic community.
He said in a statement below.
It was with great shock and sadness I received the news of the passing of Reverend Father Vincent Tanko of Ankwa Parish, who died this evening due to a ghastly motor accident.
Father Tanko before his departure was a strong religious, a social pillar and a prototype of a person who was not only relevant but essential in church, organization and society he identified with. His demise is a great loss to the entirely of those who had both passive and active contact with him.
My condolence goes to the Church, people of Ankwa, Agunu, Kachia Local Government and Kaduna State.
May you continue to shine in heaven and may Angels receive you with open hands. .
