Award winning Nigerian Musician, J. Martins has called on President Mohammadu Buhari to resign over the current state of the nation.
The singer who seems to be unhappy with the level of insecurity and economic challenges in the country in statement issued via his official Facebook page decried the current situations of Nigerians.
Below is an excerpt of the statement-
“Attention:
To whom it may concern:
If nigerian problems are bigger than you to handle or that you lack wisdom to understand and feel the pain every nigerian feels on a daily basis please can you respectfully step aside or allow your VP to try? or maybe someone with fresh ideas to help us reunite this nation again?
You have done your best sir and we all understand that this situations didn’t start with you but the present Truth and Facts are that we have never had it this B. A. D. in nigeria.
We can’t go from a #No One economy in africa just few years ago to now the worst economy, switching back and forth on recession like seriously?
Nobody should just come for me here ohhh because I’m not a member of any political party and let me also warn the so called Elite that it’s time they all stop playing politics with human lives.
How can people’s children that were kidnapped in their school in kaduna for weeks now not be reunited with their parents? they didn’t go to club nor did they go out to play around to be kidnapped, they were simply in their school and when they looked up to the both the state government and federal government to protect them they all looked the other way.
Is it because they are not your children? but you go home every day and night onto your own children and you don’t think this parents deserve to have their children back home with them?
Like seriously? each time you keep giving us one excuse or the other but you back home to your children and you sleep well at night?
Let me ask you this question, where is your conscience? or have you sacrificed your soul?
You people the political class are pushing this country to Burn but let me tell you the Truth, the day it starts burning, it will start from all of you including your family and relatives, you will remember that I wrote this words today.”
