Poverty no longer exclusive to the north under Tinubu Government

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has expressed his perspective on the current federal government led by President Bola Tinubu.

Sani lamented that under this administration, the issue of poverty has extended beyond the northern region, which was historically more affected, to ensure an even spread across all sections of the country.

In his tweet, Sani emphasized that poverty was previously concentrated in the northern part of Nigeria.

However, he believes that the current government’s policies and initiatives have led to a more equitable distribution of poverty across different regions of the nation, thereby reducing the sense of marginalization.

He tweeted: “Poverty used to be exclusively for the North, now the Government is making sure there is even spread, and no section of the country is marginalised.”
