President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of former Benue State governorship aspirant, Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi, as a member of the governing council for The Nigeria French Language Village, Badagry, Lagos State.
A statement signed by the President’s Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, on Wednesday, listed the newly appointed governing council members as follows:
Labiru Musa Kafur — Chairman
Ibitoye Victor Philips — Member
Bamgbose S — Member
Musa Ayas — Member
Ogenyi Okpokwu Emmanuel — Member
Until his appointment, Ogenyi served as a special adviser to the APC chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje. He is a graduate of History from the prestigious Benue State University.
This appointment comes barely two weeks after President Tinubu appointed Chief James Oche as Federal Commissioner for the Public Complaints Commission.
