President Tinubu to submit new minimum wage bill to National Assembly

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced on Wednesday that he will soon send a new minimum wage bill to the National Assembly.

During his Democracy Day broadcast, Tinubu emphasized his administration’s commitment to fair negotiations with organized labor, contrasting this with the oppressive tactics of past dictatorial regimes.

“We have negotiated in good faith and with open arms with organized labor on a national minimum wage,”

Tinubu stated. “We will soon send our executive bill to the National Assembly to enshrine what has been agreed upon for the next five years or less.”
