Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a stern warning to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, urging him to exercise caution if he wishes to retain his position.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele cautioned that Akume may face removal from office if he is not careful. The cleric highlighted that the SGF has numerous political enemies, some of whom he may not even be aware of, and these adversaries will stop at nothing to undermine his position.

He advised Akume to be vigilant and avoid trusting the wrong people, as those working against him are individuals he likely considers allies.

“George Akume may be removed from office if he is not careful. There are political enemies out to destroy him, and they will do everything to bring him down,” Primate Ayodele warned.

The cleric also urged Akume to avoid opening his office to outsiders, emphasizing that some of the people causing him trouble may be those he places his trust in.

“He must be cautious not to allow intruders into his office, as the people behind his troubles may be those he trusts,” Primate Ayodele added.

Furthermore, the cleric advised Akume to be wary of excessive flattery, cautioning him that not everyone who praises him has good intentions.

“He must remain careful and vigilant, not assuming that everyone who praises him has his best interests at heart,” Ayodele concluded.
