The Lagos State Police Command has officially reported that Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin, also known as Primeboy, who was previously declared wanted, has voluntarily surrendered to the authorities.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed this development through a post on his official communication platform.
Following the initiation of an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate passing of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, the command had issued a warrant for Primeboy’s arrest after he failed to respond to a police invitation.
Moreover, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has announced a reward of N1 million for anyone providing vital information that leads to Primeboy’s apprehension.
In response to Primeboy’s voluntary surrender, the spokesperson stated, “Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in. He has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.”
Hundeyin reassured the public that the police force is committed to conducting a thorough and diligent investigation into the matter.
“The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice,” he concluded, emphasizing their dedication to ensuring justice is served.
