Political Career: Adegboyega Oyetola’s political journey began when he joined the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in the early 2000s. He was a key member of the team that worked on the successful governorship campaign of Bisi Akande, who became the Governor of Osun State in 1999.
He continued to be actively involved in Osun State politics and the All Progressives Congress (APC), which was formed in 2013. In the build-up to the 2018 gubernatorial election in Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola emerged as the APC’s candidate after a competitive primary election.
