Late Lieutenant Colonel Abdullahi Hassan Ali (N/12079) was born on May 18, 1975, in Kano, hailing from Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State. His educational journey began at Kuka Special Primary School, Fagge, where he earned his First School Leaving Certificate. He then pursued his secondary education at Government Senior Grammar School, Gwarzo, achieving his West African Secondary School Certificate. Furthering his studies, he attended the College of Arts and Remedial Studies, Kano, followed by Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science.
In service to his country, the late senior officer joined the Nigerian Army on October 2, 1996. Later, he was granted a Short Service Combatant Commission on December 17, 2005, as a member of Short Service Course 34, commencing his career with the rank of second lieutenant. Transitioning to a Regular Combatant Commission on November 24, 2010, he remained dedicated to the Infantry Corps.
His unwavering commitment and proficiency led to his promotion to the rank of lieutenant colonel on November 17, 2020. Tragically, his service was cut short by his demise on March 14, 2024.
