A police station in the Nyanya area of Abuja has been set on fire by hoodlums amid escalating violence.

The protests, initially sparked by hunger and dissatisfaction with the government, have spread across Nigeria.

In the Nyanya-Mararaba axis, youth have erected barricades as part of their demonstration against poor governance and rising hunger.

These roadblocks have disrupted transportation, affecting travel both within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and to neighboring states.
