Protests are going on well, no need to change the rules of engagement – Presidency

The Presidency has said the ongoing End SWAT and End SARS protest has been within the confines of legality.

According to him, there will be no need to change the rules of engagement because the demonstrators have been peaceful in their outings.

His comment came few minutes after the Nigerian Army threatened to deal decisively with those it described as forces and agents of disunity.

Speaking with Channels TV and monitored by IDOMA VOICE, Femi Adesina, Buhari’s media aide said there is nothing with the ongoing protest.

He said, “So far, the protests have been going on well. If the protests continue to stay within the confines of legality, there will be no need to change the rules of engagement.”
