Lionel Messi has said that he is trying to combine better with teammate Kylian Mbappe on the pitch Paris Saint-Germain star
Messi said he wants to see how he and Mbappe feel comfortable playing with each other for PSG.
There have been many speculations in the past about whether or not Messi is enjoying life in Paris.
The Argentine captain has scored seven goals and registered nine assists in 22 games across all competitions for PSG so far.
Speaking to the club’s official magazine, Messi said he enjoyed playing alongside top players, including Mbappe, Neymar, and Angel Di Maria at PSG.
The seven-time Ballon d’ Or winner said, “I knew Neymar and Angel Di Maria before. Kylian Mbappe I didn’t know, but we’re getting to know each other much more on the pitch to try to combine better, to see how we feel comfortable with each other,” stated Messi.
“I was lucky enough to play with the best at Barcelona and now at PSG as well.
“I’m happy and looking forward to continuing to do so.”
