Veteran Super Eagles center back who has been injured and will miss Nigeria’s clash with Portugal, has received a boost to feature in coming games.
Leon Balogun suffered an injury at halftime in QPR 2-1 loss to Huddersfield on Tuesday, hence being excluded from Nigeria’s international friendly match against Portugal on November 17.
“Leon will be touch-and-go but I guess he will be okay,” QPR coach Mick Beale said when asked to reveal the team news for the weekend.
Meanwhile, the center back may be fit to make the QPR squad that will face Coventry this weekend.
