Queen Dami, the estranged wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has announced the end of her relationship with controversial Nigerian singer, Portable.
According to reports from Naija News, the split follows a heated incident during Dami’s TikTok live session, where Portable interrupted to question her activities online and insinuate she was practicing polygamy. The singer also accused the former queen of ignoring his request to stay offline, asking if she was a housewife or a “runs girl.”
Dami, visibly upset by Portable’s remarks, ended the live session abruptly. Later, in a post shared on her Instagram page, she cited public embarrassment as the reason for ending the relationship.
Expressing her frustration, she wrote, “Alhamdulilahi, I’m done. This is too much for me. Can’t take this embarrassment again. Ire o.”
In a separate development, Portable sparked controversy with claims that he has more hit songs than Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy. The Zazu crooner made the assertion in a video circulating on social media, emphasizing that his statement was not mere bragging but a reflection of his confidence in his music.
Portable stated, “This is not about boasting; I don’t make empty boasts.” The comment has since generated mixed reactions from fans online.
