Caretaker Chairman, Otukpo local government council, Chief George Alli, has condemned in totality high incident of Rapism in his domain.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with this reporter, the Otukpo council boss who said rape was alien to the culture of Otukpo people called on law enforcement agencies to get to root of the problem with the aim of stanching it.
He said it was barbaric for anybody to indulge in Rapism or it’s ancillary offences.
Chief Alli also called on both religious and traditional institutions to sensitise the public against Rapism.
The council boss urged the police and other security apparatus to endeavour to bring all perpetrators of Rapism to book.
It would be recalled that there has been about three cases of rapes in Otukpo of recent.
