Biodun Fatoyinbo, the pastor of COZA accused of rape has strongly rebuffed the allegations of rape levelled against him by Busola Dakolo saying he has marshalled lawyers to track all those making and fuelling the allegations. He said the allegations were aimed at pulling down his ministry.
In a strongly worded press statement issued by him, he urged COZA members to remain steadfast even as he alleged that there was the possibility of more allegations surfacing in the nearest future.
While saying he was dumbfounded over the allegation by Mrs. Dakolo, he affirmed that all interactions with her were pastoral and that the incidents depicted by the ace photographer never happened.
He said that as an individual and COZA as a church were firmly against the kind of sexual abuse as narrated by Dakolo which he said are even criminal.
He also expressed shock at the attitude of the conveyors of the journalists who he said failed in the ethical duty of crosschecking with him before publication.
It is the first time that Pastor Fatoyinbo would come out to defend the allegation of sexual abuse which first came to fore after a member of the church, Ese Walters alleged that he serially had sex with her in London.
