Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund has reached an agreement with Manchester United for a five-year contract. The news was confirmed by renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Tuesday afternoon.
The deal is now subject to the two clubs finalizing the transfer fee, with Atalanta reportedly seeking a fee in the range of €90 million to €100 million for the talented striker.
According to Romano’s tweet, the personal terms between Hojlund and Manchester United have been settled, securing a five-year contract for the player until 2028. Additionally, the contract will include an option for a further year, offering potential continuity for the player at the club.
While Hojlund has agreed to the terms with Manchester United, the negotiations over the transfer fee are yet to be resolved. Atalanta’s demands will play a crucial role in determining the final amount for the transfer. However, Romano emphasized that Manchester United is not willing to engage in any “games” regarding the fee and is committed to reaching a reasonable agreement.
