The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) will commence its first virtual annual Holy Ghost Congress on Monday.
The theme of the virtual Holy Ghost Congress — scheduled to run till Friday — is “Time to Fly”.
This is the first time the church will hold its annual Holy Ghost Congress virtually, as a result of the COVID-19 safety protocols issued by the federal government that restrict large gatherings.
Participants are to join this year’s congress virtually, which will be televised via Dove media and other online platforms.
However, participants will converge on the RCCG’s auditoriums at the redemption camp, along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, on December 11, 2020, which is the last day of the congress, for the Holy Ghost service, anointing service and holy communion.
Pastor J.F. Odesola, assistant general overseer, administration and personnel, in a statement, urged those who would be present at the camp to comply with COVID-19 protocols.
“While we are all prayerfully looking forward to the Holy Ghost Congress, we hereby wish to bring to your notice that the event will be virtually transmitted via Dove Media, except Friday 11th December 2020, which will be physical meeting,” Odesola said.
“Expectedly, delegates will be arriving from Monday, 30th November, 2020 for the Friday, 11th December physical meeting.
“Please be advised that everyone in camp should be fully compliant to the Covid-19 protocols.”
