Real Sociedad coach praises Sadiq for goal on debut

Real Sociedad coach Imanol Alguacil was left frustrated after their 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid.

La Real felt aggrieved after the intervention of VAR denied them victory.

Umar Sadiq scored on his debut and Imanol said, “He can give us a goal. It has been seen as soon as he entered.

“He performs very well in those forward positions, where he uses his body very well. We have players behind to give him good goal situations and hopefully we can be successful in front of goal, because that’s what we lack.”

And he highlighted the goalkeeper Álex Remiro: “He is at a very high level. Not just that year, but last year as well. He shows it in all the training sessions and matches and not only with his hands, but with everything that helps us with his feet.”
