Reason Tinubu rejected Boss Mustapha, picked Shettima as running mate revealed

Fresh facts have emerged on the real reason Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, picked his fellow Muslim as his running mate have emerged.

IDOMA VOICE reports that Tinubu during the weekend announced Shettima, former Governor of Borno State as his running mate amid harsh reactions from Nigerians especially the Christian community.

Before the announcement of Shettima, there were other northern Christians that were nominated for the VP job, IDOMA VOICE reports.

Among those earlier nominated was Boss Mustapha, the current Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF.

However, Mustapha was allegedly rejected by Tinubu because he’s a Christian.

This revelation was made known by socio-political commentator, Deji Adeyanju.

He said, “Boss Mustapha, current SGF, was one of the leading contenders to be VP to Tinubu.

“He was not picked because he is Christian. He’s 200 times more competent than Shettima. Let’s continue to deceive each other in this country.”
