Red Bull boss Christian Horner breaks silence on leaked viral WhatsApp messages

Embattled Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has responded to the recent leak of WhatsApp messages allegedly exchanged between him and a female colleague. The leak comes just after Horner was cleared by an internal probe into “inappropriate behavior.”

In a firm statement, Horner stated:

“I will not comment on anonymous speculation, but to reiterate I have always denied the allegations. I respected the integrity of the independent investigation and fully cooperated with it every step of the way.”

Horner’s wife, Geri, has also arrived in Bahrain ahead of the race on Saturday. This development follows the leak of messages and images exchanged between Horner and the complainant to 149 members of the F1 paddock.

Horner’s response comes amidst renewed scrutiny, with the leaked material reportedly containing WhatsApp texts – some of a sexual nature – allegedly sent by Horner to the female colleague. The authenticity of the content remains unverified, and it is uncertain if these exchanges were part of the previous investigation or new evidence.

Red Bull Adviser ‘Flabbergasted’ by Leak

Red Bull senior adviser Helmut Marko expressed surprise and dismay at the leak of the alleged WhatsApp messages involving Christian Horner. Marko, who was in conversation with Horner in Bahrain, stated:

“I am flabbergasted that texts allegedly from Christian Horner to the complainant were leaked to F1 personnel and media.”

This reaction highlights the shock within the Red Bull team following the leak, which has put the spotlight back on Horner amidst the ongoing controversy.

Mercedes Boss Calls for Transparency

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has called for greater transparency in the case involving Christian Horner. Horner was recently cleared to continue as Red Bull team principal after an internal probe into “inappropriate behavior.”

Wolff challenged Formula One and its governing body to demand more transparency from Red Bull’s investigation. Horner’s clearance has sparked discussions about the handling of such cases within the sport.

Geri Horner’s Arrival Amidst Scandal

Geri Horner, wife of Christian Horner, landed in Bahrain on Friday amidst the scandal surrounding her husband. The leak of alleged sexually suggestive messages has once again put the couple’s relationship in the public eye.

Sources close to the singer revealed that she was “relieved and elated” when the case against Horner was dismissed. However, the leak has reignited the controversy, drawing attention to the couple at the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Geri Horner has been a familiar presence in Red Bull’s F1 paddock, and their relationship has been highlighted on Netflix’s popular series “Drive to Survive.”
