Reiss Nelson named 2022/23 EPL’s Gamechanger of the season

Reiss Nelson, the Arsenal forward, has been named the recipient of the 2022/23 Premier League’s Gamechanger of the Season accolade.

The Gunners officially announced this achievement by sharing a photo of Nelson alongside the award on their social media platform, X handle (formerly known as Twitter).

This award celebrates Nelson’s remarkable performance, particularly his stoppage-time match-winning goal against Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium in March. His crucial goal enabled Arsenal to stage a stunning comeback from a 2-0 deficit to secure a thrilling 3-2 victory, further propelling their title aspirations.

Nevertheless, despite their remarkable efforts, Arsenal fell short in the title race, with Manchester City ultimately clinching the league championship. In response to this recognition, Arsenal wrote: “Congrats, Reiss 👏.”

“Nelson’s last-gasp strike and performance against Bournemouth in March has won the 2022/23 Premier League’s Gamechanger of the Season award!“
