Rema: First Nigerian artist to perform at Ballon d’Or ceremony

Nigerian afrobeats star, Divine Ikubor, who goes by the stage name Rema, achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Nigerian artist to grace the prestigious Ballon d’Or ceremony.

At the 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, France, the 23-year-old Rema captivated the audience with an electrifying performance of his popular song, ‘Calm Down.’
