Reno Omokri, former presidential spokesman and President Muhammadu Buhari, staunch critic, has hailed the president for signing the Electoral Bill 2022 into law.
Reacting, Omokri, a former presidential aide, hailed Buhari, saying the development is an indicator that the president is committed to democracy.
He said, “I commend General Buhari for signing the Electoral Act into law. By this act, General Buhari has shown commitment to democracy. Buhari has taken a number of irresponsible decisions over the years, of which I opposed him. But in this, he deserves kudos!
“And if General Buhari continues along these lines, all he will get from me is praise. But if he deviates, then my table shaking will continue.”
The socio-political activist, however, advised the president to do more by building hospitals for himself and Nigerians which would stop politicians from foreign medical trips.
“Stay in Nigeria. Build hospitals for yourself and Nigerians, especially Nigerians who urinate in public, and I will not embarrass you with #HarassTinubuOutofLondon”, he added.
