Resident of GRA Otukpo to petition Godwin Obla SAN

Residents of GRA Otukpo are set to petition Barr Godwin Obla, a re-knowned legal luminary in the country, now based in Abuja.

Obla, who hails from Otukpo local government had also served as Council Chairman of the local government for two terms.

He is been challenged by his kinsmen for been insensitive to their well-being especially, in terms of their health.

He is alleged to be keeping large heards of cattles at a residential area in Otukpo, a development that is fast creating untold health hazards on Residents.

A resident, Mr Oche Okoh while expressing her predicament larmented, ” we can no longer stay out during the day time because strange flys have taken over the almost every were in GRA Otukpo, because Barr. Godwin Obla SAN, has used a land which is supposed to be residential house to keep cattles.

“This has brought about plenty of flys in the area as well as other hazards associated with cattle husbandry, most of us have been forced out of our homes owing to this development”.

Frantic efforts to get Barr. Obla for confirmation on the matter proved abortive at the time filling this report.
