Residents lament as flood sack communities in Makurdi (Photos)

The flood in Makurdi has been protracted. Every year it increases in devastation.

Apart from seeing government move round town to assess the level of ruin, there has been no concerted plan or efforts to preclude future occurrence.

It is either we are having IDPs occasioned by insecurity or flood. We keep moving from one unfortunate story or happening to another.
