Rev Fr Alia polls over 500,000 votes to emerge APC guber candidate in Benue

A suspended Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has won the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Benue State.

IDOMA VOICE reports that Alia emerged winner in the direct primary mode conducted across the 23 LGA of Benue State.

The cleric polled over 500,000 votes to beat his 12 others con-contestans.
