Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, has recounted how Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, came to him for help prior to the Imo state governorship election, but later abandoned him after winning.
According to him Uzodinma threw himself down in his church and promised to help Imolites (Imo state citizens) if he wins.
But since he won, he has been refusing to take his calls.
He lamented that even when he tried to call him to advise him on how to be “a good shepherd” in Imo, he rejected his call, but some people think that he has been winning and dining with governor Hope Uzodinma.
“Hon. Hope Uzodinma came here one day under Holy Ghost invitation..He came here and threw himself on the alter and upon the book of life, and sworn that he will take care of Imolites very well. My people do you know that since he won that election, I called him about only two times or three, Hope Uzodinma did not pick my call again.
If call him to advise him on good governance on how to be a good shepherd in Imo. Hope Uzodinma did not pick. And I kept quite, some of you will be thinking he’s been winning and dining with Fr. Mbaka.”
