REVEALED! Real cause of Otukpo cult clash, how it all started

Fresh facts have emerged over the recent cult clash in Otukpo that led to the death of over ten young men.

IDOMA VOICE has gathered and uncovered the root cause of the Sunday killings in Otukpo local government area of Benue State by suspected cultist groups who declared war on each other.

Privy sources have disclosed that war broke out after member of the rival cult group was gunned down on Saturday June 2nd May, 2018 evening while returning from his place of work.

A source hinted this reporter that Echo, who was a member of Red Skin; allegedly snatched a girl belonging to the rival cult group known as Black Skin Secret Cult.

The girl was identified as Vicky who resided around the Otukpo round about.

His action irked the other group who trailed him Saturday evening and shot him at a close range outside his barbing saloon at Akpa street.

Angered by Echo’s killing, members of the rival declared war on the opponents where over 10 of them were killed in fire exchange.

Meanwhile, Police through its spokesman in the state, ASP Moses Yamu, said 15 persons have been arrested in connection with the deadly clash.
