Contrary to a tweet by a prominent Nigerian, officials of the Rivers state government have come out to say that “there is no Ebola Virus in Port Harcourt or any other Local Government Area in Rivers State.
“Checks with the Department of Public Health of the Rivers State Ministry of Health, Disease Control and Centre for Emergency Response prove that there is no truth in that tweet.
“The State is free of the Ebola Virus” they said.
