Rivers youths bomb MURIC for attacking Gov. Wike

By Dormene Mbea

Youths in Rivers state have said that members of the Islamic human rights organization, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) are cowards and fools to have insulted the Governor of Rivers State, Chief. Barr. Nyesom Wike.

The youths in a statement by Dormene Mbea said that they “will resist any attempt to insult or disrespect our beloved governor intentionally or willfully. Rivers youths are equal to the task to contend and confront any calculated or
premeditated attempt to islamize Rivers State by any means.

“Governor Nyesom Wike who is holding Rivers mandates owes no one any apologies, for declaring Rivers State as a Christian State in Nigeria. Rivers State will continue to be a Christian State, till Jesus Christ come.

We believe that the so called organizations is led by cowards that are seeking for cheap political relevance. Why have they not criticize the following 9 Northern States for instituting Sharia in their States.
* Zamfara State
* Kano State
* Sokoto State
* Katsina State
* Bauchi State
* Borno State
* Jigawa State
* Kebbi State
* Yobe State.

We are warning members of the Muslim Rights Concern group to cease from making reckless comments against our governor. I am equally calling on Mr. President and all Islamic leaders to warn members of Muslim Rights Concern, to stop the insults and disrespectful Statements against the governor of Rivers State.” He added.
