Ronaldo set for Newcastle return in 2024

Al-Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, is reportedly being linked with a return to the Premier League and European football.

A report from El Nacional suggests that the former Manchester United forward has received an offer to join Premier League club Newcastle United in 2024.

Ronaldo left Manchester United in November 2022 after terminating his contract and subsequently joined Saudi giants Al-Nassr in January 2023 following the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Having scored an impressive 24 goals in 24 appearances for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, his performances have caught the eye of the club’s owners. They have allegedly extended an offer for Ronaldo to move to Newcastle United, a club owned by the same ownership group as Al-Nassr.

While it remains unconfirmed whether Ronaldo has accepted the offer, there is speculation that he may seriously consider it in the weeks leading up to the January transfer window.
