Portuguese talisman and forward enigma, Cristiano Ronaldo has been out of favour in the Manchester United team so far this season having been struggling with playing time despite been their best goalscorer for the Red Devils in the last campaign.
The football icon and five times Ballon D’or winner made his legendary return to the Old Trafford for a second spell at the team in the last summer transfer window, and was able to pick up his impressive goal scoring form from where he left off before his departure for his dream move to Real Madrid in 2009.
Cristiano Ronaldo was a key figure in the squad in the last campaign both under then Norwegian manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and German tactician Ralf Rangnick where he scored well over twenty goals, with only Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-min Son netting more goals than him in the English Premier League.
However things was not the same for the Portuguese talisman this season under the Dutch tactician who denied him from leaving the club in the just concluded summer with the promise that he is part of his plan.
He was unable to fulfill his word having been keeping Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench as he has started most of their games so far this season from the bench, with the icing on the cake making him an unused substitute in the last weekend during their Manchester Derby clash at the Etihad Stadium.
With report now reaching out late yesterday night, the newly appointed manager Erik ten Hag has now made it known that he is open to letting the Portuguese forward leave in January when the winter transfer window opens as he will not be standing in his way if the right offer arrives.
