Royal anger: Tor Tiv spits fire, reveals what will happen to Benue indigenes working with killer herdsmen

In what could be tagged as royal anger, the traditional ruler of Tiv, Begha U Tiv, Prof. James Ayatse, has laid curse on any Benue indigene working with killers in the state.

Ayatse stated this comment during his funeral speech on Tuesday at the burial of the two priests and other worshippers killed by Fulani herdsmen in Mbalom, Gwer East, LGA, Benue State last month.

According to the monarch, “There will be a curse on any Benue son or daughter colluding with our enemies to take over our land and kill our people. Such a person will be sucked by Benue soil.

“Benue sons and daughters irrespective of party or religious affiliations, must unite and defend their land from been taken away by the enemies. It is not only my duty. It is not only the duty of the Governor but a collective duty.”
