Banku music pioneer Mr. Eazi has donated N5m to aid Africans stranded in Ukraine.
Comedian Craze Clown disclosed the news via his Twitter handle where he appreciated the singer for his humanitarian act.
The media personality also used to opportunity to call on other celebrities and well-meaning individual to replicate Mr Eazi’s gesture.
He wrote; “Thank you soooo much @mreazi for the huge donation of 5m naira to help African students stranded in Ukraine.
“Please I urge everyone that can help one way or the other to do so… I will be sharing more links you can donate to. All Help is needed at this point it’s alot.”
On 24 February 2022, Russia launched a large-scale military invasion of Ukraine, one of its neighbouring countries to the southwest, marking a steep escalation to a conflict that began in 2014.
Several officials and analysts called the invasion the largest conventional military attack in Europe since World War II.
