Sad story of an Idoma lady: Husband abandons her with 3-month-old baby; marries her best friend

The story of Ikwuje Ada Josline is the type that could only be watched on the screen. It sounds like a movie script but real.

How do you expect a lady to move on after her legally wedded husband dumped her and settled for her best friend who was even her chief bridesmaid on her wedding day? Shocking!

This is the story of an Idoma lady whose husband has abandoned and fled into thin air with her three-month old baby with another woman.

IDOMA VOICE stumbled on the story shared on social media and bring it to you raw and uncut.

A Sad story of An Idoma lady (jossline)

(She gave her consent for this story to be shared)

She met her ex husband 4years ago and she took him to the village, he earlier told her he knows a family that comes from same village with him but lives in jossy’s village and when he told her, she became comfortable because the family was coincidentally jossy’s neighbour and one of the daughters of the neighbor Mercy was her class mate in secondary school and best friend.

So when she took him to the village they decided to visit her best friends family to introduce him to them..In her words…”when me and my husband went there, it was my best friend whom they gave already peeled oranges to give my husband, and she only tied wrapper on her chest, they eventually visited and left”..when the date for the marriage was fixed, they did it successfully and her best friend was even her chief brides maid and the best friend’s parents were the sponsors in their marriage.

Her husband initially resides in Doha, so after the marriage they returned to Port Harcourt to stay shortly before leaving for Doha..unknowing to her, the husband hooked up with her best friend during the marriage period and the very day they returned to port harcourt, the husband secretly gave the best friend money to come to PH..she said the husband on several occasions didn’t sleep at home, he gave series of excuses and told her he was running around for her visa so they could leave.

Unknowing to her, he already rented a house for her best friend in PH. People kept on calling to ask her questions about how her best friend was looking all tooshed up.

By this time, the friend had began to distance herself from jossy.

The husband left for Doha and she later joined him. She stayed with him in Doha for a few months and was about 2 months pregnant.

Things were going smoothly when all of a sudden he told her that she needs to go back Nigeria with the excuse that her visa wasn’t for permanent residency and he would rectify the issue ASAP and she would return.

Jossy returned back and a week later she heard from people that the husband came to her village to pay the bride price of her best friend.

He lied to the village people that jossy wrote him a note stating that she was no longer interested in the marriage and requested for a payoff of 5 million naira.

Meanwhile Jossy couldn’t reach her husband anymore. He totally stopped picking her calls.

At this point she got news from the village that the father suddenly has stroke..She had to send home the little money she had saved for his treatment but all to no avail as he’s still down with stroke.

She later started hawking pap (akamu) in masaka Abuja where she managed to rent a house of 45k, and put to bed a baby girl. She said on most occasions, she would lock her 3 months baby up in the room just to hawk pap.

The suffering was too much that her mother came and took her to the village. In the village, she started farming and selling garri. She got depressed and at some point attempted suicide…for the past 4years the ex husband has never reached out to her nor has he seen the child.

She tried to reach him to plead to even be sending at least 5k for the child’s upkeep but he blocked her from reaching him..she left her baby with her mum in the village and came back to Abuja in search of any job.

She got a house girl job which was her only option, but you will weep when I tell you what she earns and her predicaments..the ex husband and her former best friend now live outside the country and have two children together. As you can see from the pictures below…
