Samuel Chukwueze’s AC Milan squad number revealed

Super Eagles’ winger, Samuel Chukwueze, is set to don the iconic number 21 jersey at his new club, AC Milan, according to DAILY POST reports.

The Nigerian international arrived in Milan on Wednesday and successfully underwent his medicals at the prestigious La Madonnina Clinic, ahead of his anticipated move to the seven-time European champions.

In a revealing moment, the electrifying winger disclosed his chosen squad number for the upcoming season. Chukwueze wrote the number “21” on a shoe he received from a passionate Milan fan, hinting at his jersey selection.

The number 21 shirt holds historical significance at AC Milan, as it was previously worn by the legendary Italian midfielder, Andrea Pirlo.

The official unveiling of Chukwueze as part of the Rossoneri squad is expected to take place on Thursday.

The 24-year-old Nigerian international is making the switch from LaLiga side Villarreal to AC Milan in a high-profile transfer. He is set to sign a five-year contract with the Italian giants, while Villarreal will receive a transfer fee of €28 million, which includes additional add-ons for the talented winger.
