The immediate past minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro has once again hit the Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom.
He said that the Governor has sold out the future of the state.
According to Moro, anyone campaigning for the governor to still remain in power beyond 2019 does not want the good of the state.
Moro made this assertion on Tuesday while addressing the expanded caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party at the state secretariat of the party in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
He said, “If you are a Benue citizen you must ask this ineptitude government questions.
“This government has sold our future with borrowings. I am PDP body and soul; nothing will ever make me shift grounds.
“Anyone calling on the governor to still hold on to power beyond 2019 does not mean well for our people. We need to change this change,” he said.
Recall that the frmer Minister had lashed out at Governor Samuel Ortom, saying he does not deserve a second term.
The PDP stalwart described Ortom’s utterance about second term as an affront to the sensibilities of the citizenry in Benue State when he was yet to do anything meaningful to justify the current mandate given to him by the people.
