According to football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Alexis Sanchez is set to finalize his return to Inter Milan this week.
As indicated by Romano, the Chilean footballer has come to terms with his former club and is scheduled to undergo a medical examination on Friday. Upon successful tests, Sanchez will formalize a short-term contract with the Serie A powerhouse.
Romano’s tweet reads: “Alexis Sanchez to Inter, here we go! He’s back on a free transfer after spending one year at OM – an agreement reached and a medical booked on Friday. Sanchez will sign a short-term deal in the next few days as he was waiting for Inter. He’s set to replace Joaquín Correa, who joins OM.”
After his contract with Marseille expired this summer, Sanchez is now a free agent. The 34-year-old has previously played for Arsenal and Manchester United in the Premier League.
