The burial ceremony of the late Akintola Williams saw the presence of several notable figures, including the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, and the former Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, among others.
Akintola Williams, who passed away at the age of 104 on September 11, will be interred today, October 19, 2023.
The event also welcomed distinguished guests such as business magnate Aliko Dangote, Pastor Mrs. Ifeanyi Adefarasin, Prelate Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence Dr. Oliver Alli Abba, Archbishop of Lagos, Dr. Isaac Ayo Olawuyi, Bishop Steven Adegbite, Lagos State CAN Chairman, and Very Revd Sola Kuyebi, Presbyter Wesley Cathedral Olowogbowo.
