Satmak Gideon: Nigerian doctor dies mysteriously 6 weeks after wedding

A Nigerian doctor, Satmak Silas Gideon, has tragically passed away just six weeks after his wedding in Jos, Plateau State. According to journalist Bello Lukman, who hosted the wedding reception, Dr. Satmak’s lifeless body was discovered in his neighbor’s apartment in the early hours of Wednesday, August 2, 2023, after he had returned from Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH).

The circumstances surrounding Dr. Satmak’s death are shrouded in mystery and have left his family and friends in shock and agony. Bello Lukman expressed his sorrow and disbelief in a heartfelt Facebook post, recalling the joyous occasion of the wedding and hoping for a perfect union for the newlyweds.

Dr. Satmak’s family members suspect poisoning as the cause of his death, citing signs of struggle on his hand. The timeline of events leading to his discovery in the neighbor’s room at 4 am remains unclear, and the neighbors’ delayed reporting of his presence and death until 4 pm is now under investigation by the police.

The untimely death of Dr. Satmak has left the community in mourning, and they seek solace in Almighty God during this difficult time. They pray for strength to bear the irreparable loss and appeal for justice as they hope for the truth to come to light and his killers to be exposed.
