Chief Press Secretary to Benue State Governor, Mr Terver Akase says the massive upgrade of primary school structures across the state is in fulfillment of his principal’s promise to make the learning environment conducive for the Benue child.
Mr Akase stated this today when he visited LGEA Primary School Agbeede in Konshisha Local Government Area where a new administrative and classroom structure is under construction.
He expressed the commitment of Governor Samuel Ortom to the provision of more school structures, saying that already, over 1,000 of such projects had been completed in parts of the state with customized desks and chairs also provided in the schools.
The Chief Press Secretary said Ortom is the first Governor to approve the construction of new structures in LGEA Primary School Agbeede, since its establishment many decades ago.
He urged benefiting communities of various school projects in the state to protect the facilities against theft and vandalism, so that the huge investment the State Government is making in education would not be in vein.
Mr Akase reassured Benue people that Governor Ortom will continue to serve the state selflessly. He appreciated the people for their support and understanding in the face of security and financial challenges.
