Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has described his meeting with Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi as a search for better Nigeria.
IDOMA VOICE reports that Obi had a secret meeting with some PDP top-shots in Port Harcourt in attendance.
The meeting is the second time Obi would meet with Wike after dumping the PDP and declaring his presidential ambition.
Others in attendance include, former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke; former Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwanbo; Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom; Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu; Mohammed Adoke and several others.
In a tweet after the meeting, Ikpeazu wrote, “The search for better Nigeria requires that we all unite to share ideas & work together regardless of political differences. It’s our country’s peace & prosperity that matter to the majority of Nigerians & every leader must think along that line and engage to realize that.
