Senate President, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, has appointed former Chairman of Otukpo LGA of Benue State, George Alli, as a Senior Legislative Aide.
In a letter dated January 24, the appointment places Alli on salary grade level 15, with effect from January 1, 2025.
Reacting, Alli thanked the Senate Minority Leader and Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro, for influencing his appointment.
He promised to remain committed to upholding the values of integrity and dedication in the role.
He wrote, “I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude to the senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro, PhD, for his unwavering support and influence in my recent appointment as Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio.
