Senate proposes bill to ban protest in Nigeria

The Nigerian Senate under the leadership of Senator Ahmed Lawal, have made resolve to enact law proscribing protest in the country.

The bill which has passed first reading in the floor of house is sponsored by Senator Abdullahi Adamu, senator representing Nasarawa West senatorial district of Nasarawa state.

There are reports that the Buhari-led government had since been abashed with series of protests from aggrieved groups following the incessant killings ravaging the country..
