Comrade (Dr.) Abba Patrick Moro, the distinguished representative of Benue South Senatorial District, joined the congregation of mourners on Friday to pay their respects at the burial of Mr. John Adikwu in Aukpa-Adoka, Otukpo Local Government Area. Mr. Adikwu, the valiant Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Otukpo Police Station, was one of the tragic casualties of the armed robbery incident that occurred on October 20th.
Senator Moro acknowledged that Mr. Adikwu had made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, serving his nation selflessly. He described the circumstances surrounding the officer’s untimely passing as deeply painful and devastating. The senator offered his heartfelt condolences to the entire Adikwu family and prayed that God would grant them the strength to cope with this irreplaceable loss.
Senator Moro extended his condolences to the grieving widow of the deceased, assuring her that he would provide assistance with their children’s school fees and support the family in times of need. In a display of compassion, the Senator and his accompanying delegation also paid a visit to the elderly mother of the late DPO, offering their condolences in the remote hinterlands.
