Senator Abba Moro donates cars to APC Zone C leaders

The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro, on Monday donated eleven vehicles to leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zone C.

The beneficiaries include the nine APC local government party chairmen in the zone, the zonal chairman, and the zonal women leader.

Making the presentation on behalf of the senator, Solomon Onah explained that the gesture was an extension of the same goodwill Senator Moro had previously shown to PDP leaders.

He emphasized that the senator remains committed to serving all constituents regardless of political affiliation. “This is a continuation of the senator’s inclusive leadership.

He is a senator for all, irrespective of political leanings. The donation fulfills a promise he made during the recent Interactive Meeting and Constituency Briefing held in Otukpo,” Onah said. He added that more dividends of democracy were on the way for the people of Zone C.

Also speaking at the event, George Alli, former Chairman of Otukpo LGA and Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President, highlighted Senator Moro’s dedication to empowering the people of Benue South. He stated that massive empowerment programmes had been earmarked for Zone C and urged the people to continue supporting the senator.

In his remarks, APC Zonal Chairman, Bishop Pinot Ogbaji, expressed gratitude to Senator Moro for the donation. He praised the senator’s performance and leadership, noting that it was part of the reason APC stakeholders in the zone had earlier visited him at the National Assembly in Abuja. “Like Oliver Twist, we ask for more,” he said, assuring the senator of their continued support and prayers.

The beneficiaries of the car donation include Bishop Pinot Ogbaji, PhD, APC Zonal Chairman; Hon. Robert Esther, APC Zonal Women Leader; Ochai Stephen, APC Party Chairman of Okpokwu; Okoh Moses, Otukpo; Josiah Owobi, Ado; Inalegwu Enokela, Ohimini; Ekah Peter, Obi; Obiabo Samuel Eche, Apa; Habib Saidu, Agatu; Andrew Edache, Ogbadibo; and Andy Ekirigwue, Oju.

Among those who witnessed the car presentation on behalf of Senator Moro were  Egli Ahubi, former Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly and Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President, as well as Edoh Ogbole, also a former Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, alongside other dignitaries.
