The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro, today, joined other mourners and well-wishers to bide farewell to Late Mama Agnes Onyegiri Agom (Nee Abah), at Ai-Edigwu, Idiri-Okpoga, in Okpokwu LGA.
Late Mama Agnes Agom, the mother of Hon. Agom Anthony, Member representing Okpokwu State Constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly, died on 11th January, 2021, at the age of 82, after a brief illness.
Senator Moro described the death of Late Mama Agnes as ‘unfortunate’, occurring at a time that her wealth of experience is most needed by her son, Hon Anthony Agom, and the entire Okpokwu people.
In his words, “We are grateful to God for the fruitful life mama lived, the faith she professed in the Lord Jesus Christ and the hope of her eternity in heaven.
“She died at a time that her wealth of experience and elderly guidance is needed but we are consoled by the hope that she has gone to be with the Lord in heaven.
“It’s our earnest prayer that God Almighty will grant the family left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.
“The Senator prayed God Almighty to grant Mama’s soul eternal rest.
