Senator Abba Moro thanks attendees of daughter’s wedding

Distinguished Senator Abba Patrick Moro, on behalf of his family, heartily appreciates all the dignitaries, friends and well wishers who trooped out to witness his daughter’s wedding on Saturday, in Ugbokolo, Benue State.

The Senator’s daughter, Theresa Onyewu, was given out in marriage to her hearthrob, Mike Ogenyi Elaigwu, in an event that attracted the crème de la crème from far and near.

Senator Moro thanks H.E, the Executive Governor of Benue State, Dr Samuel Ortom, who was with him from the beginning of the event to the end. Special thanks to the Senate President, H.E., Senator Ahmed Lawan, for his support. Special appreciation goes to the former Senate President, H.E, Senator David Mark, and his wife, Chief Helen Mark, who were the Father and Mother of the day respectively. Special thanks to Senator Michael Nnachi, Senator Orker Jev, Senator Gabriel Suswam and other serving and former members of the National Assembly who were either present or sent in their goodwill messages.

The Deputy Governor, Engr. Benson Abuonu, the Speaker of Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.Titus Uba, Commissioners, all serving and former members of the House of Assembly and State EXCO of PDP, led by Sir John Ngbede, who graced the occasion are greatly appreciated.

The Senator appreciates the Minister of Special Duties, H.E, Senator George Akume, and the former deputy governor of Benue State, Chief Stephen Lawani and political leaders in Benue State who sent representatives to show solidarity with him on that special day.

Special appreciation and recognition go to the Local Government Chairmen who attended the event in their large numbers.

He thanks all the top-ranking military and para-military officers, especially Major General Irabor, who was the Chairman of the event, and the Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Services, represented by the DIGP Zone H, who turned out in their large numbers to grace the occasion.

Special appreciation to members of the Moro Agbam family, who defied all odds to make the event a huge success, the Ugbokolo youth, the entire community and security agencies for their support.

To the traditional and religious leaders, elders, youths and women groups, and all those who came in from all parts of the State and beyond, Senator Moro is very grateful.

He prays God to bless and reward everyone who took out time to share in his joy, saying he won’t forget the day in a hurry.
